Introduction

Pour Happy is an Orlando happy-hour directory that helps visitors discover local specials, vote on listings, save favorites, and submit new deals. This Privacy Policy applies when you use pourh.com, create an account, contact us, or send a happy-hour submission.

By using Pour Happy, you acknowledge the practices described below. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not provide personal information through the service.

Information we collect

The information we collect depends on how you use Pour Happy:

• Account information: Your email address, username, account identifier, and sign-in activity when you create or access an account.
• Votes and favorites: Your upvotes, downvotes, and privately saved venues. Visitors who vote without an account receive an anonymous identifier so one active vote can be counted per visitor and venue.
• Live activity: An anonymous browser identifier and temporary online status are used to calculate the total number of active browser sessions on Pour Happy. The public counter displays only the total, not usernames or personal details.
• Submissions: Venue names, happy-hour details, source links, your optional contact email, and any PDF or image you choose to upload for review.
• Contact messages: Your name, phone number, email address, and the details you include when contacting us.
• Technical information: Our hosting and authentication providers may process information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, and timestamps for security and service operation. Vercel Web Analytics also provides anonymous, aggregated activity such as page views, referring sites, general location, browser, and device type so we can understand and improve the site.

Optional support payments are completed on Stripe’s secure, hosted checkout page. Pour Happy does not receive or store your full payment-card details. We do not request precise device location through Pour Happy.

How we use information

We use collected information to operate the directory, sign users in, keep favorites private, count votes, review submissions, respond to messages, prevent misuse, maintain security, fix problems, and improve the service.

Submitted venue details may be verified, edited, and published as part of a listing. Contact information and private upload files are used for review and follow-up and are not displayed as part of a public listing.

How information is shared

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that help us operate Pour Happy, including Supabase for authentication, database services, and private file storage; Vercel for website hosting, delivery, and privacy-focused Web Analytics; FormSubmit for contact-form email delivery; and Stripe for optional support payments and secure checkout.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, to investigate misuse, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Cookies and browser storage

Pour Happy and its service providers may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your light or dark theme, support anonymous voting, reduce duplicate browser sessions in the live visitor count, protect the service, and maintain basic functionality. Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies.

You can clear or block browser storage through your browser settings. Doing so may sign you out, reset your preferences, or prevent some features from working correctly.

Data retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain accurate records, review submissions, prevent fraud or abuse, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods can vary based on the type of information and why it was collected.

Live presence status is temporary and is removed after the browser disconnects or becomes inactive. Rejected or outdated submissions and their uploaded files may be removed when they are no longer needed for review or recordkeeping.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information connected to you. You may also ask questions about how your information is used.

To make a request, email huntsvilledesigns@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. You can also remove individual favorites from your dashboard and clear browser storage directly from your browser.

Data security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information. Submission files are stored privately and accessed through temporary links during review. However, no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Third-party links and venue information

Pour Happy links to restaurant websites, menus, maps, and other third-party services. Those services control their own privacy practices, content, and availability. Review their policies before providing information to them.

Happy-hour details can change. Always confirm current pricing, times, restrictions, and availability directly with the venue before visiting.

Age restrictions

Pour Happy is intended for adults of legal drinking age and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review and remove it.

Updates to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Pour Happy’s features, service providers, or legal obligations change. The date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last revised.
